Postbariatric Plastic Surgery

This reconstructive procedure is indicated for those patients who have had a considerable weight loss, showing extreme tissue laxity and loss of fat volumetry. Such defects may appear in arms, legs, abdomen, neck, back, buttocks and face. This excessive weight loss may be secondary to extreme diets and surgeries such as gastric bypass, gastric sleeve or gastric balloon. There are different types of treatments, both reconstructive and aesthetic, for this sort of defects.
