Botulinum Toxin

It is the application of a neurotoxin causing paralysis of some wrinkle-generating muscles. This aids to eliminate temporarily facial lines and prevent the appearance of new wrinkles. The most common facial areas where Botox is applied are the forehead, the eyes (crow's feet) and the frown lines. It can also be injected in the jawline and neck for facial lifting.
